The heart of this hotel is its proprietress, Alexandra, and her staff, who fill the space with warmth, care, and love, from the flower petals on your bed when you arrive to the special blend of coffee that they serve in the morning (with warm milk.) Everyone is kind and attentive. Breakfast is delicious, the pool is spotless, the grounds well kept and beautiful, the short 5-minute walk to the beach allows for quiet away from the main street of Las Terrenas. In addition, there is an outdoor space for yoga with classes every week.

Tolle Ferien im Hotel Tortuga in Las Terrenas
Für mich war die Unterkunft im Hotel La Tortuga genau das Richtige. Ich hatte ein Häuschen für mich alleine mit einem grossen Aussenbereich, der nicht einsehbar war. Die Innenausstattung war schön, wenn auch etwas einfach. Das Bett war super und der Zimmerservice ebenfalls. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Der Garten mit Pool ist wunderschön.
Ich kann das Hotel nur weiter empfehlen.

The staff was wonderful, we had a lot of rain and they went above & beyond to make us happy. The quaint hotel is located walking distance to many restaurants. The only weird thing is that it is in a neighborhood where every property is walled in so kind of sterile looking getting there…… but inside the property is an oasis!

I felt good with the staff’s service. The AC isn't enough for the floor. The breakfast is good. They have a vary of activities including a big car for rental and a buggie.
